This Privacy Policy explains how The Boring Gift LLC ("The Boring Gift," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when using our private social media publishing application, The Boring Gift Postiz.
Information we access
When an authorized administrator connects a supported social media account, including Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest, the application may access information permitted through that platform's APIs, including:
- Basic account, profile, Page, and business-account identifiers;
- The Pages, professional accounts, Pinterest boards, and Pins belonging to the authenticated administrator;
- Content prepared, scheduled, published, or managed through the application;
- Comments, engagement information, and account or content insights; and
- Access tokens and permissions needed to maintain the authorized connection.
How we use information
We use this information only to authenticate authorized administrators, connect The Boring Gift's social accounts, schedule and publish content, manage engagement, and view performance information. The application is used to manage our own business accounts and is not offered as a service to the public.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the connected social media platforms, including Meta Platforms and Pinterest, and by the infrastructure providers needed to operate the application. We do not share information for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.
Storage and security
Application data and authorization credentials are stored on systems controlled by The Boring Gift and are protected using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only while it is needed to operate the connected social accounts or meet legal obligations. An authorized administrator may stop further access by disconnecting the Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, or other connected account from the application. To request deletion of information associated with the application, email theboringgift@gmail.com. We will verify and process valid requests within a reasonable period.
Children's privacy
The application is intended only for authorized business administrators and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children through the application.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision.
